Problem Solved

Just what the title says....anything and everything related to Rods, Reels, Terminal Tackle, Plastics, what others are using, what works, what doesn't work, and anything else you want to talk about regarding equipment.

Re: Quantum reel repair question

Post by ShawnD »

Hvae you looked up your reel on the Quantum website? I've ordered parts from there before and fixed a reel.
It's pretty straight forward. But if you can't figure it out there's a section of the website that will refer you to their service department.

Sounds like you're missing a spacer that goes on top of the line guide pawl or you just haven't tightened the pawl cap enough.

The spacer

$5.32 part or use a sequin was what I was told...even tin foil folded over and hole punched will do it.
