7 months of mystery tackle box

Just what the title says....anything and everything related to Rods, Reels, Terminal Tackle, Plastics, what others are using, what works, what doesn't work, and anything else you want to talk about regarding equipment.

7 months of mystery tackle box

Post by Malyon18 »

So i received a 1 year subscription for Christmas and have been wanting to post what I have received each month for about 7 months now lol well today is the day I finally do it. The first 2 months i opted for the ice fishing boxes and then switched to bass. They just released walleye boxes which will start in August so I may end up trying one of them. As you can see some months are better than others but I guess that may vary from person to person.

To what did you subscribe that you receive a care package every month?

Are they just as "rugged" as baby wipes?

Couldn't tell you about baby wipes, all I can say is they definitely 'get the job done'

In terms of mystery tackle box, I also received a 6 month subscription from the wife last Christmas, I found there was the odd good item in the boxes but for the most part they sat in the corner all year long. I think it depends on what kind of angler you are, I very rarely stray away from my bread and butter tackle items, but for someone new to fishing it IMO it would be something to look into.

I get to both the mystery tackle box and lucky tackle box and love them alot. Agree their are some that would sit in the corner but I do enjoy trying all the lures I get..

I just recently signed up to MTBpro and first box impressed me.
Looking forward to next month

My subscription just ended in January and with the Canadian dollar the way it is I decided not to renew due to the added cost compared to what I paid last year when our dollar was pretty much at par. I was satisfied with everything I got and will probably do it again when our dollar goes back up ;)
