Best ice braid for walleye during hard water ?

Just what the title says....anything and everything related to Rods, Reels, Terminal Tackle, Plastics, what others are using, what works, what doesn't work, and anything else you want to talk about regarding equipment.

Even tough I'm not a fan of ice fishing 5 months is a lot without fishing so it seems like I have to adapt. I was thinking at jigging for walleyes and maybe doing some drop shot as well but mono lines or FC have lots of memory and are not such a good transmitter when it comes to vibrations therefore, the need for a braided line. I assume that many of you guys are fishing during winter so I am hoping for a good advice from your experience . Thank you very much.
