Postby Lao Zhang » Sun Sep 03, 2017 9:39 pm

Hi Everyone,
It is Lao Zhang from China. Sorry the name is difficult to speak and I just came Toronto half year. I always went fishing in China but found quite different here. And I went to several parks in Toronto and Simco , Buckhorn, Scugog for fishing.
Appreciate for any advice and experience! Also looking for some accompanies to go fishing together.(near North York Center)

Welcome Lao Zhang. There is lots of good fishing in the Toronto area. This though, is mostly an Ottawa forum. You may want to post your question at this site:

The people there are mostly from the Toronto area.

Welcome to Canada. Each province within the country has specific rules/laws in regards to fishing. In the province of Ontario, the MNR (ministry of natural resources - government) has divided the province into zones, each with their own set of rules. You can download a copy of the regulations here. https://www.ontario.ca/document/ontario ... ry-chinese

As for techniques on how to fish - YouTube is a great place to start.
