Hello from Houghton PWT
Hello fellow Halk-Talkers...
Just a quick report from the Professional Walleye Trail event in Houghton Michigan. I am fishing the Super Pro Series event as a Co-Angler and learning a new body of water from the best in the business.
I had made arrangements with Tony Puccio to prefish with one of the best lead-core trollers and old school walleye anglers on the PWT - Ron Seelhoff. The bite has been very slow on Lake Portage, Torch Lake and the bays on Lake Superior. Many of the Pros I have chatted with have only caught a 2 or 3 fish for 5 days of prefishing.
Here is a picture that Ron let me snap of him tossing back one the big eyes we landed during our prefishing.
Ron Seelhoff with a nice Houghton Walleye
Also as a side note there are two Canadian Pros that are fishing the Super Pro series John Butts and Larry 'Snowman' Snow. Here is a morning picture of John Butts heading out in his Crestliner.
I just returned from the rules meeting and the three Partners I have for the event are great. Day 1 - Chase Parsons Day 2 - Dave Randash Day 3 - Todd Frank.
Til the next report...

I just accepted the sales & marketing job for this company.
A couple of other pros use my custom harness designs. Be sure that if there is a winner that the anonymity will be set aside.

Different system!
Way to go, Sheldon!
Those walleye guys use a different system, I see.
The am gets the pro's weight too?
Is a 60 boat field a full field for these events?
CCB- (knows very little about this trail obviously )
