Two pull's and away it goes Oh yeah !

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Well it sounds like a fairly cool week coming up, so I finally did what Joco an several others did weeks ago, fired up the Jiffy ....... sweet sound that auger makes

As I walk be my gear, I look at my newly won ice rod and reel combo, what line should I put on it, not too impressed with the cold weather ice line, what do you use on your reels, I use dacron on my windlass's and wont change.

What about your reels ??

I am going to be using gamma ice line this year , have never tried it before but it comes highly recommended and just feels nice.

spooled up my new 100 series abu cardinal with 5lb.

I still have to spool up my other 3 combos and I have 6-8-10 lb for different fish.

Talk to FH new knowledge partner Kert Levigne , he will be able to help you decide.

Me too I shined up my auger on the weekend. Put a 5 gallon pail of water in my freezer overnight and tried the auger next morning. My blades are still okay for now.

Can't wait. Crossing my fingers for next weekend.

My buddy up North walked to his cottage on Sat. morning, it's on an Island. Lucky DAWG

Hey I did the same thing only I set a line. I had chicken fingers for supper.

Yes I know if I would have said fish sticks that would make me sound silly.
