size of ice auger??

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Have you tested the runner's slippiness on snow. Sometimes aluminum sticks to snow.

In my younger days when i was a tad thinner than i am now, i fell threw a ice fishing hole that someone cut with a chainsaw, "NOT A NICE FEELING" my uncle was standing next to me and pulled me out and had me on the snowmoble faster than you could say holy crap, i was a solid chunk of ice by the time we arrived home (2minutes@ -20 or so), if anything can't or won't come out of a 8-10 inch hole i don't want to be around to see it, "get er done" and be safe
