baitcasters derby saturday!

well i went down with(hof) and met up with BTS!

the day started off cold and windy good !!
good thing bts had an extra shack for us to use(wow what a nice guy he is)

he set us up with heater and lighting.thxs again bts!

well if anyone who knows me ...knows i have not cought a fish threw the ice yet,not for lack of trying,

well morning started off real quick with yes...yes...my first ever fish a nice size eating eye.
then another and another wow this was fun 5 eyes in less then 2 hours i was one happy camper!

but if everyone knows the real fisherman was there he comes across with a 4.2 eye just to take the glee off me...no that was a nice eye for sure got bts second prize congrats buddy!

well me and hof fished rest of day with hof catching his eye and getting skunk off his back lol
had a pike on my line but lost it at the hole!

well the day stayed windy all day we thank god we had alittle angle with us (BTS)

want to thank bts for the hospitality and for cooking lunch!you are one classy guy thxs again for eveything!

hoff thxs buddy had a great day on the ice with ya again!always a pleasure!

Congrats Zort! Good to hear you got the ice-fishing skunk out! And 5 'eyes, that's a pretty great way to do it. And good job on that 50/50, sounds like you'll be back next year. Can't wait to see the pics.

Zort: We never met at the derby but I did curse your name cause my ticket was not drawn for the 50/50... anyway BTS said you guys had a great day of eye's while I had an amazing day with some HUGE JUMBO Perch. Congrats for getting the ice monkey off your back...lets hope your luck keeps up for the rest of the season.

BTS: We were fishing right beside your son and his buddies...Some nice lads ya got there but they need to improve on thier ice driving with a standard...I think I heard the engine scream in pain a few times. They came over to see how we were doing and told us about the eye they caught in the morning. They were definatly having fun later on in the day ...giggle pops were going down good...Again great kid ya got and nice load of eye's after we left. What time was that at??? We left right after the derby.

Great getting out with you again Zort, and I'm glad you got that monkey off your back. Can't wait to get out with you again so I can knock you back down to reality .
