MNR website down.. no regs online for fishing season...

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

MNR website down.. no regs online for fishing season...

Post by Priorguy »

I have been checking all week at the MNR site for online regs and it seems to always produce an error when going to regulations...

Here is the error:
Oracle Content Server

Is it me or can others get there.. if not does this means no regulations online means fish-on.. no limits.. I know before you bash me.. I was kidding...

But really no online regs is not a good thing...
Here is the MNR site and look under fishing

Being that they are available at every Walmart, Canadian tire and tackle shops I don't think it's much of an issue.....

Someone is asleep at the network switch it appears though.....

I contacted the MNR about the confusing array of guidelines concerning fish santuaries in Zone 18, and was eventually met with a reply more complicated than programming a VCR in the dark. Not the most user-friendly government monolith, but then, which one of them are friendly....anyways, the second weekend in May is fast approaching!

Appears to be working fine now...

There is a message on the main page saying that they are experiencing techinical problems though... and that some content may not be available.
