and i thought that a few weeks ago we were seeing alot of dead fish

like eels, carp, suckers, and catfish all up on the surface

nothing like that though :shock:

anyone know why these bottom feaders were dying ?

BP oil spill caused a Oil eating bacteria to be used to degrade the oils in the water but they use up alot of oxygen and therefore once getting into smaller areas or streams the oxygen in the water is used up too quickly and the fish cant sustain life in that area. Also the oil spills and runoff from farms are causing this as well.

WOW! What a festering mass of ocean creatures. Some of the comments in the link are quite interesting.
If Winnipeg gets a hockey team, Toronto will want one too.....

Not the oil bacteria.
