Finally made it out to water after a 2 week stint of work. Me and an old friend in my boat and 2 other buddies in another boat. It was a cool morning, we were on the water for 6. I caught this musky around 7:20 on a mag bulldawg. This fish followed by friends lure to the boat and I just happened to be finishing a cast as well when I started to figure 8. This fish wanted my offering more than his, needless to say he was not happy considering he just started musky fishing and hasn't caught one yet.
My buddy in the other boat caught his first musky as well, a 33 incher. We also caught a few pike today with the largest being around 7lbs...which is the biggest one ive seen in the rideau in a while. I love the fall fishing...less people on the water

Hey Nips,
That's one solid, brawny fish.
The Figure 8 gets another one!
Nice report, and I agree about being out on the water this time of year. It's special.
W.
Thanks, Dad, for taking me fishing when I was a kid.
