Walleye Palooza with Big Jim and friends.....

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Walleye Palooza with Big Jim and friends.....

Post by RJ »

Last weekend was a trip I will never forget......

When Big Jim told me many months ago to leave the week of the 16th to the 23rd of October open I had no idea what I was in for.........

Turned into a 4 day trip for me on beautiful Georgian Bay with the likes of Big Jim, Bob Izumi and Dave Mercer.......unreal.

The Scenery, Company and Fishing could not have been better!

Of course the Big Man stole the show........Jim had been telling me for 2 months a #9 Shad Rap would be his go-to bait and he was planning on getting a tank on it.....well.....a moment I will never forget being there to see!

Image

I've done a major rundown of the trip on my blog......it's going to be next to impossible for me to top this one!

http://rjnbirdeesoutdooradventures.blog ... m-and.html

What most impressed me of the trip was this......no matter how famous you are or aren't......we all just love to fish and connect on that level....awesome.

Wow.....I'd say lucky guy but to be in the company of Big Jim and co. requires a bit more than luck. It speaks soly on the quality of your character.

Thanks for the report...very cool! Nice to see ,you deserve it. 8)

I read the report on your blog and it looks like just an amazing time out on the water.
Some awesome pics, and a great story. Amazing.

Rob,

What can I say? It is the equivalent of fishing with Jimmy Hendrix, Muddy Waters and Wierd Al Yankovic! (You figure out who is who!!)

That would be a fishing trip of a lifetime for anyone.

No food porn?

Thanks for sharing!!!

RJ great read on your Blog. You were sure in the presence of a lot of fishing experience there and I am sure that you also had a lot of fishing stories to tell.

I think somebody posted earlier this month and was asking about what a Lifetime Fishing Trip would be. This trip would be pretty to close to what a Lifetime Trip would be in my mind.

Thanks for posting.
When hell freezes over, I'll be there icefishing!!!
