Weekend outings with Slop and Duke

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Nope "He" is 100% lab. Just very tall and lean compared to others.

Thanks for the comments guys.

Yes Grant stole the show Saturday morning. It was a great battle to watch on the "stick" he was using. It certainly was an "eye" opener for all of us.

I forgot to mention I had issues with my Jiffy. It's taken apart in the shop and I need a governor spring. Anyone know where to source Tecumseh parts locally? (Also posted here in the non-fishing section where non0fishing things belong :D :D )

Good times Luke!......Duke was a real treat for all of us since it was his first excursion on the ice. It was a sight that had never been seen before...the sniffing deep in the fresh snow, flying through the air like a fabled reindeer....to the expressions on his face while pulling Perch and Walleye through the holes.

Priceless....

At a mere 13 months of age, Duke is well on his way to execute very specific commands. I was very impressed to witness the hard work from both Luke and Duke ....these guys are an inseperable team

For the Crappie and Perch, I used the following:

Egg

Flower

Fishcrisp(original)

Bread crumbs

Parmesean cheese

Grant I had a Mc Giant sanwich and a large meaty pasta for lunch. Then I went to the chinese buffet for dinner and ate til they kicked us out.
I thought I was full, but now I see this delicious plate of deep fried goodness and Im hungy again. :x
