MONSTER Smallmouth!!

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

MONSTER Smallmouth!!

Post by Slayingm »

Guide trips on the Kawartha lakes the past couple of weeks have produced some nice catches of Walleye and some awesome smallmouth action including these 5lb toads! Bass are all coming on Drop-shots with Slammers and Rapala Husky Jerk jerkbaits working shoals and rock/weed area's in the 10 to 20ft range.

Get out and enjoy the action while its hot!

Be safe and Good Fish'n .... G.

I was thinking the exact same thing!!

Nothing like a "Who's Your Baby Daddy?" Jerry Springer-esque type fight a smallie can bring! Even better on a Med-Light rod!!!!

Nice spades!

Those sure were a nice group of smallies.
I think you've got some hidden in all the lakes you guide on.
Congrats .

Very nice! Just for the heck of it, and I mean no disrespect, correct me off I'm wrong, which will obviously be the case, but to me, is it possible those aren't quite 5'lbers... They look like mid 4's.

Cheers,

E
