Had the opportunity to go out this year practically every weekend! Had a very rough year, learned allot! Met some nice people! I cant say I didnt get a good summer since its better being in my boat then being at work right! I was just hoping for a better ratio that's all. Next year me & a buddy are taking a guide on the St-Lawrence in Cornwall! Thats what killed me this summer... The ol mighty St-Lawrence in Cornwall specifically. I was extremely stubborn going day in and day out and 99% of the time coming back empty handed or with only one or 2 fish which were released because I dont feel like doing all the work for one or 2 fish...
About 2/3 of my summer passed & I got a big smack in the face pretty much that for all that time there was some key things I wasnt doing at all for the st lawrence. I wasnt using fluoro just straight to braid & I wasnt really drop shotting or just a jig at the bottom. I was more using Rapala (which I dont know why because I dislike them haha) & just using a senko texas rigged usually... End of summer changed my tactics a bit & found my ratio goin up a bit so Hope was getting reastablished lol
Went to 2 tournaments with no success, it was a great experience. I might still do a couple a year but not too much! It gets expensive!
Tried 2 new body of waters as well. Went the the Mississippi Lake twice & the place I loved the most, went to the rideau river down in Kars area & had a blast! went 3-4 times at least & always got our limits! It was very fun & somehow I didnt have a hard time on the rideau! Lotsa fish, nothing huge that we got but id rather have lots then one big (for me anyways hehe)
That pretty much wraps up my year! Now for the good stuff! Enjoy the pics
How I roll & How I surf?!? haha !
I really like my 2 solar pannels, to me they make a big difference in summer times when you cant seem to have enough time fishing!
My fish finder is old but it does the trick... somehow, it was saying lotsa fish right here but NADA nothing at all. Definitely investing in a good fish finder next year! (I already know what I want lol)
Found a cool fish skeleton washed up on shore! I kept it, want to varnish it and mount it!... side project for the winter maybe! Anybody know what it is exactly?
One of our not so many decent trips!
My biggest bass this year,
My personal best was broken this year! 5.7 lb walleye!
My dad came down from up North this year to reteach me how to fish hahahaha It was a good day lets just say... Compared to all the empty handed trips I had just previous to this one
Our dog's last trip of the year before it gets too cold!
My borther in-law got his personal best smally! 3.6 lb If i remember correctly! PS: yep, it was cold haha
Theres never enough fishing right!?
Last but not least, my LAST trip this year on the Ottawa without even a single bite! but hey! Gotta keep a smile on right!? hahahaha
I hope you guys enjoyed the pics
Cheers & have a merry christmas in advance everybody! Stay safe & enjoy the holidays!
See you guys next year on the water!

You're an interesting guy to follow here NG. You do take your lumps in learning but looking at these pictures it shows you certainly had some new successes out there on the water. It'll keep getting better and better, your drive to get out there will make it so.
