Fish Reg

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Fish Reg

Post by Wally »

Hi guy ,just bought a new home in Morrisburg along the St-Lauwrence River ,was planning to fish between Cornwall and Brookville. Would that be zone 20 .
I would target Walleye ,pike and perch. Is the limit for walleye S- 4 , and I see you can't keep more then 1 over 24.8 in or we fall under the exceptiom of no
size limit ,not sure where the lines are ,can somebody in that area clarify that for me .Another question if you fish around the islands in the middle of the river
can you fish both side or one side is consider U.S....Thanks ...Wally

Wally: I have the regs at the store. To fish on the U.S. side you need a New York License.

I don't believe there is a size limit for that zone in the area you are fishing in. Im pretty sure everywhere east of Kingston, up to lake st Francis is no size limit. You may want to check with a local fish shop to make sure.
