1000 islands fishing

Hiya, thinkin of towing the boat down from ottawa to somewhere around gananoque to fish. Any body have any advice, spots, wisdom?

Not sure if you know this already or not. Gan launch kind of sucks for parking where you launch & park is almost 4-5 blocks away so obviously someone has to stay with the boat & someone has park.
As for fishing look for shoals there's some big ones, dropshot, tubes will work.
Fishing the St.Lawrence 12 months a year!
