If you show me yours, I'll show you mine

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

If you show me yours, I'll show you mine

Post by M.T. Livewell »

Funny, little bit of deja vu. In fact, I think this is what I called the thread last time, but cannot find it going back.

Anyway, Spring is here, and the software is coming real soon. Time to get the boats out of mothballs and ship shape.
A lot of folks just got new boats, and I'm sure they'd love to show 'em off. Others maybe just wanna post a pic from season's past to remind them what their boats look like.

At any rate, for those of you who are not aware, there is a section in the FH gallery for boats. Be sure to post your pics there.
Mind you, like many of us, I seldom go outside of Hawk Talk.

So, bare your naked boats so all the world can see! I would like to know who I am passing on the water.

(p.s. This boat is also my pc desktop, and is about the only thing that gets me through the winter)

Ah, I remember this thread from last year! More getting psyched for the soft water season... :D

Here's our humble boat, which really does the trick with the exception of being underpowered with a 25 hp. We want to put a 40 hp on it, but I'm not sure if we'll get by one more year with it as is. We'll see...

We love the wide deck and deep V with regard to safety factors for the kids. Because we opted for a tiller model, we have even more room.

The thing hanging off the front is an automatic anchor (by Minnkota) which comes in really handy when fishing with kids.

Thanks, Dad, for taking me fishing when I was a kid.

But my project for this spring/summer is to turn it into a fishing machine!

I will add a casting deck at the front, fish finder, and a trolling motor.

Also a very cool decal that will be done by bucketmouth. :D

There's mine, not the clearest shot but it'll have to do!
What it lacks in horsepower it makes up in accessability. You should see the trout in some of those creeks.
