Kates is very small and tough to access. Peterwhite I believe the property around it has been bought. Green lake is easy to get to by any map, but brookie fishing is poor. Too many sunfish.

Fallfish for sure. One of my favorite non-gamefish species -- always good for fast action and a decent fight.

Fished Indian Creek today... and there was nothing but a few 3-4" minnows

i know its been many years now, but i was curious if you were still out fishing the creeks of Lanark County? if so, i would sure love to hear how your trout adventures went? i grew up down the road from Eastons creek and pulled brookies out right at the culvert back then, but i would like to find out if it holds any of any size in any location of the creek still? hope this reaches you. ~Skoal~

used to catch them in the jock river a lot, they would swoop in quick in small groups and just nail it. good fight for a small fish.
there is also a quarry in west ottawa full of them, I've been considering trying to ice fish it for fun..
is it legal to catch and keep them for musky bait?

Yes, fall fish are legal bait.
