Monday Fishin

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Monday Fishin

Post by Canadian Bacon »

Went out with Snag to the Ottawa on Monday but I didn't have a computer until yesterday..so here are some quick pics...Gonna put one of them in angling idol just not sure wich one yet.
It was a really nice night..a bit of a breeze to keep us cool. Had a great night as I usually do with the company! :D
If these are any indication someone will have a great big bag for Renegade this weekend...

OK -- change "Canadian Bacon" to "Bassin' Bacon".

Great looking fish & pics!

What about Snag? Any bass for her, or was she on photographer duty?

You're lookin' good in pic 1 bud, but the bass in pic 4 is the most worthy. Tell Snag about the rule of thirds though for her photos. They're all very similar in style so in round 2 for the Idol I suspect it'll be judged heavily on camera angle, quality of fish and scenery in background. When your in the pics bacon we can't often see the background because of you and your big b"butt." :P  :P

Snag, it was good of ya to let guy catch a few while you did nothing. Ask yourself CB, what is she up to :?:

She took the best pics she could with what was there..
Where we were didn't have the greatest scenery, unless you were looking from my angle :o .
The one with the sun in th background just didn't quite get enough of the fish otherwise it would have been a great pic I think...Plus the fish is the smallest one.

Oops, forgot to answer your question...

Toss up between pic # 1 and the last one, Bacon, if you're looking to enter the pics. I like your smile in #1 & the lighting is good as well as the fish :!: , so I guess I'll pick #1 for the selection question.

I like #1, nice shot.

Really though Bacon, move to the edge of those weeds and use those bass as bait. I can smell a 50"+ off those photos. 8)

Maybe you could wear a T-shirt with a picture of your niece Princess Cassie and her winning smiling ... that might get ya to the top. :P

More pics of Snag, less pics of Bacon please. (Snag, go to the front of the boat and work that trolling motor, first one to the fish usually catches 'em).

I went 0 for 4 I believe.

The darn bass kept missing the frog by atleast a foot.

Wasn't my day thats for sure. But yes, I tried to use that theory to make me feel better. He's at the front so he gets first dips at the best spots.... but then RJ reminded me he got his 5lb bass from the back of a boat.

I agree with MM, I'm ready to go muskie hunting!! Already bought a muskie combo off Bobber's neighbour, and a couple muskie baits. 8)
