Need help choising a lake

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Need help choising a lake

Post by kingb_44 »

My wife and I haven't been to Ontario fishing in 18-20 years, but would like to schedule a trip for next summer. We used to go to the Verona area and would like to stay within 1 1/2 to 2 hours of the border crossing at Thousand Islands.

We would like to fish for bass and pike, in addition to getting a cabin we would need to rent a boat and motor. Not looking for a huge lake where you need a big boat just something small where a 14' boat and motor would suffice.

Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated or you can e-mail me KingB_44@hotmail.com.

Thanks

I'd suggest Charleston lake. I love that place.
