Quinte Nov7th & 8th walleye,salmon & stirped bass

Post by Ciscoekid »

I did manage to catch a few walleye on the 8th. My brother caught a 9 1/2 pounder that was the biggest. I caught a 4 pounder and a 5 1/2 pound wallaye. My brother caught a 6 pound chinook and I caught a stirped bass of some sort. Anyone heard of this? Did get pictures but I am having a little trouble geeting them on. I was marking a lot of fish between the ferry and the light house. I was in 65-75 feet of water, the deeper water was not holding as many fish. I was planner boarding and down rigging 25-30 feet down. Ciscoekid.

Might have been a silver bass or a big shad. How big was it?

Congrats on the chinny! sweet bonus. Was the salmon silver?

Sounds like a silver bass.

I'd love to see the salmon pic. That fella is a bit late. Coho's should be starting to run in good numbers soon too.

If you'd like to email your pics to nsmarkus@hotmail.com I'd be happy to post them for you.

Everytime we're out there one of us makes the comment "wouldn't a Chinnie or Laker be nice" instead of Sheepies :!:
