Need some help!

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

LOL Thanks alot guys!!!!! :D

I dont think 5 lures will do...probably get around six or seven.

Heres my list

-small black/white floating rapala "uglystick swears by them too"

-MT special  "white spinnerbait"

-scum frog "agree..topwater is king"

-mepps spinner- smallies and trout...thanks moosebunk and fishmaster

-senkos- need to see what all the craze is all about

-tubes-not sure which colur..but whehn i used to spinfish "grade 3" a red and smoke colour worked well.

I'm also going to buy some dropshot sinkers and hooks for rigging. Tied some marabou/bucktail jigs for crappie too.
I'll probably be checking out bits and baits sometime before christmas.

jdsk- Thanks for the "fool proof" plan

gravelguy4- Tried getting him into flyfishing...LOL didn't like getting schooled by me every time :P

Thanks alot everyone!!!! I'll keep you posted.

Hey yung,
I think most people will agree with me here when I say GREEN tubes. :D You can get red fleck, black fleck, copper fleck, blue fleck any colour fleck as long as they are GREEN tubes(watermellon, green pumpkin, melon neon) :D Smoke red pepper is also a good colour but on the bonnechere I would suggest GREEN :!: :!: :!:

 "I love my GREEN tubes"

I had the same problem with my old man... First off, it seems they all rave about the red devil... buy him one if he doesn't have one... let him use his own pole and reel for comfort. Encourage him to tell ya where the best spots he liked fishing.... if he is anything like my dad, he is going to be competitive and show his son up...

if you kick his butt fishing he might not go out with ya again, or he might try harder,,,

like i said ask him alot of questions and let him "show ya how its done"

I think you will have a blast.

if not, go where he will hook a killer carp and watch his face as he tries to fight it...
