Don’t forget that when we get a heavy snow fall that that blanket of snow insolates the ice and may turn the little bit of good ice we have into unsafe ice. With 30 to 40 cm on the way don't even trust the ice you where on today !

when i was a kid mom wouldnt let me go icefishing unless my uncle dragged the boat out for me to sit in, lets just say i didnt do alot of icefishing as a kid
