Devil's

Post by grumpy7790 »

Wolfe,
Any day spent on Devil's is a real plus.

Plan on getting ten days in from June 30th on.

Been tuning in the new boat this spring and not much fishing.

May head up this weekend to work on the boat some and put back a few suds.

Stop in from the 7/1 -7/10, my kids are 3, 6, and 8.

Missed yeah last time.

Have fun on Wolf this summer. Plan on doing an evening T with Blake. Seen him fish last year with "GREAT" patience. Seems like he has Wolfe figured out. Trevor, a local found in an around town is a good guy to tap for wolf lake info.

Oh yeah, about me...

I'm going back into college next September in a different course, hopefully I will end up being a marine mechanic at the end of it all or something like that. Something close to water ;)

Right now I work at Kentucky Fried Sweatshop, and I hate it, but hey its money I definitely need so I cant complain. I been fishing for 18 out of the 20 years I've been alive, it's all I think about day/night, when I am at work all I think about is the fishing I'm gonna do on my next day off or after work! The best damn addiction that ever happened to me (and I have had a few, I wont lie).

Anyways thats my story. lol

Rain

Post by grumpy7790 »

Ahh Kpin, your the first person I met that could screw up a perfectly good all day rain.

Oh, and don't forget the day I saved your life from trying to do a Plank walk off the front of my boat in the middle of the night in the middle of the lake!

You still owe me,

water

Post by grumpy7790 »

You would not have lasted long in that 75 deg. water before withdrawl symptoms and advanced delirium tremens would have set in.

Let's not forget that a major side affect of Frontal Lobotomy's is the loss of all morals.

Hey Guys !! BigAl for me came from being 240LBS and Alex Simple and effective. I originally come from Boiestown NewBrunswick And lived within feet of the mighty Miramichi River. I mostly grew up fishing ATLANTIC SALMON and brookies. I came to Ontario to work for ICG propane and to try my fly fishing skills on walleye ,bass and pike and still having lots of fun doing so. I now work at Proctor and Gamble and spend as much time on the water as humanly posible.

Fish hard boy's !!!!!

all about D-mo

Post by D-mo »

I was born in the wagon of a travellin show
My mama used to dance for the money theyd throw
Papa would do whatever he could
Preach a little gospel, sell a couple bottles of doctor good

Chorus
Gypsys, tramps, and thieves
Wed hear it from the people of the town
Theyd call us gypsys, tramps, and thieves
But every night all the men would come around
And lay their money down

I never had schoolin but they taught me well
With their smooth southern style
Three months later Im a guy in trouble
And I havent seen her for a while, uh-huh
I havent seen her for a while, uh-huh

I was born in the wagon of a travellin show
My mama had to dance for the money theyd throw
Grandpad do whatever he could
Preach a little gospel, sell a couple bottles of doctor good

yes, its a sad story ... but its made me a better fisherman ...

Grump, thx for the invite. Hopefully, we'll cross paths this summer, being as you're just "across the street" and all.

If Blake is "Orrsey", yeah...he seems to have a good handle on Wolfe.

W.
Thanks, Dad, for taking me fishing when I was a kid.

Well, the name used to be Waterkan, but realizing I didn't like that very much after a while I started trying to think of a new handle. I was in the basement one night with one of my boys and he was watching Futurama on the tube. I kept hearing the name Bender come up so I thought " that could have a few different meanings , I like it! " and so it has become :D

 I've always had a bit of an irreverent bent and like to poke fun at authority. So with apologies to my Catholic friends; when Joseph Ratzinger became Pope I couldn't understand why he chose Benedict XVI when Joey Rat the 1st seemed like such a natural.

He didn't so I did.

I'm a long time civil servant (28 yrs) married with two almost grown daughters. At least grown enough that I am looking for a boat and hoping to give much more time and careful consideration to this thing called fishing.

I lurk alot but will speak up when I have something to say. Mostly I'm looking to learn.
I'm just another beer drinker with a fishing problem!
