Cooking Fish

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Cooking Fish

Post by Bassmaster »

Well the :!: went off in my brain tonight cooking supper... I love nothing more than fresh panfried fish... however I am under doctor's orders to lose weight for various reasons.

So tonight I grabbed the olive oil and used that to fry the bass that was caught this morning. :D

I can still have panfried fish and not worry about artery clogging butter etc.

Unfortunately it might not be that simple. Apearantly cooking with any oil is bad for you if you burn the oil. The lame thing is that it's burnt oil(or butter) that browns the fish.

Dip them in a little egg then take a bag of Lays Smokin' Bacon chip crunch them up really small and roll the is fish in it. Heat up the BBQ lay down some foil and enjoy.

Use your favorite type of chips. Salt & Vinegar is another fav of mine to use.

Oh and Lays chips have 0 trans fats.
