Can someone help me identify this fish please??

This fish was caught by my friend Moe on the Ottawa River. It is a foot and a half

yuppers looks like the freshwater drum (sheephead) i catch down here garbage for eating but i see ppl mistake them for bass all teh time lol......

I would have to agree that is definality a freshwater drum. Catch them all the time in the BoQ. Great fighting fish but that is about all they are good for.

Totaly agree.. Been on the Bay for the last 5 weekends.. soon to be six.. When I get home from work this afternoon I will post a pic of a monster... last summer we didn't catch a lot, due to that virus that killed themm off.. however this year.. I have never seen so many HUGE sheep head.. I mean HUGE.... Talk about a fight....

Oh ya.. and the bigger they get..... the uglier they get....
