Just got back

Post by Fishhawk »

Hi everyone,

Sorry for looking like I disappeared off the face of the earth but a vacation had been planned since November. Nancy had earned it.

I hope everyone is getting as charged about bass fishing as I am. Except for the Staten Island Ferry, I haven't been on a boat in 7 days. It is killing me.

On another matter, if you haven't already done so, we would appreciate receiving the entire balance of your payment as soon as possible. If you can recall our promo poster

we had originally requested full payment 30 days in advance. This helps us cover some of the initial costs associated with organizing this sort of week-end fun.

And if you could also check the tag on your t-shirts and let me know what size commemorative t-shirt ya need I would appreciate knowing that piece of info real soon too.

Can't wait to meet everyone and go fishin. After my short vacation I am pumped!

Looking at list I see 5 boats in the confirmed...

Should I be concerned with renting a boat? or we will fit 3 on some?

Caigers Get-away

Post by Seaweed »

Well gang I won't be joining you like I thought. I have added up all the variables in this situation and I have elected to not go. I need to buy a new prop and that money is scarse right now. I know that the St. Lawrence is also bad water for boat bumping and without a good map of the area I can't take that chance. This plus the fact that the weekend we were going away is my wife's birthday and a get-together BBQ for her and her new work gang and Lord knows one must keep up appearances at such events. Anyway I wish you all the best and catch a few big old bucketmouths for me.

It does not look as though it will be an issue Rideaufish. It looks as though there are plenty of seats. If my counting is correct it could go something like this, or combinations thereof...

Big-O has Topwater and Dave
Fishhawk has room for Rideaufish
Bobber has room for Clipper
John has room for SteveG
Bacon and Snag
Cman - space on boat for buddy is unconfirmed

That's the role call.

I look forward to doing some bassing with all of ya. It should be just a blast.

Anyone see what the weather is going to be like? Doesn't look like much rain is coming. Just scattered showers.

I looked it up under Gananoque on the WeatherNetwork.com.

I had arranged with big-o and topwater that topwater was going to ride with me but as we all know noone is ever left on the bank at these get togethers so it'll all work out well i'm sure.
