Water Temp's homework ?

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Water Temp's homework ?

Post by New Kid »

Hey guy's, can anyone give me any idea of average water temps per month on the rideau in area's above Burrits rapids? Even average temp of Dow's lake would be helpful. Any relevant info no matter how small would actually help

Hey viper those links were great. Being a newbie myself can one for instance assume that, say if you are fishing for Pike, and the preferred water temp is like 16 C then matching those graphs on the chart suggest a very active time of year for fishing ?

Hi Kenny

I don't know the answer to that one. But I believe there are others on the board that can provide that info

I think that there are so many varibles in fishing that it is best not to get hung up on one thing. The more you get out fishing the more you learn.

Also I think that when something works today it does not mean it is going to work tomorrow.

The only advice I can offer is keep learning. :) :) :)
