Hey Zog,

Almost always at Canadian Tire - 2 minutes down the road. Is most easiest and best for me..

Good Fishing,

Justin

At the kiosk in Bayshore, it takes 2 min. Just like getting your vehicle sticker.

Just as Justin, I always got it at Can. Tire...until I had to renew both license and card simultaneously and wanted the 2 yr. license. They informed me they couldn't comply.

I went the online route...(and I'm not one who trusts online transactions of any kind). I've got to say, it was so easy and simple that I don't think I'll ever bother waiting in line again once renewal time comes around again.

I purchased mine on-line, but if my local tackle shop sold them, I would go through them as to support their business. Plus, it is always a pleasure to chat about fishing with the local tackle/bait store. Goodtimes had by all.

Bass Pro

Post by Abraxus »

I usually get mine at Bass Pro. We have a sales contests at work and I often win $250 U.S in Bass Pro bucks. The thing that gets me though is....I usually buy my license around this time of year, every year and yet I never get the card in the mail until November! Why do they even bother creating more plastic waste with the cards? In most cases all you ever have to show for proof of license is the original paper slip you get when applying. Seems so rediculous to me!

Lisences

Post by Seaweed »

I have to read my regulations better.... I really do.

I found out last year that for the past three years I didn't need to buy a lisence. Go Figure.

Can anyone figure out why? No I'm not Aboriginal.

The wife was reading the regulations last year.... and low and behold .... it says ....

"Anyone holding a valid Disability Parking Sticker doesn't have to purchase a lisence...."

Due to a bad knee that limits my mobility I was deemed Disabled by my doctor three years ago and given a Parking sticker at that time. I wonder if it is the same for hunting? I better check.

I probably will continue to buy my lisence anyway to support the fishery.

I have been buying mine at Oziles but wouldn't worry about doing it online though... seems easy enough.

Seaweed......

You disabled sticker will also get you discounts at provincial parks... My uncle used to take me to Algonquin all the time and received a discount upon showing his disabled parking pass.

Check around.. there are probably many other discounts that you do not know about..

Local marina here most times -- once or twice we've had to go to BPS when the marina was closed and we had to be on the water that day.
