Ice Shack Plans

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Design your own.....make it suitable to your own needs....ie. kids...wife...friends...

We built an 8X8...and are planning to expand eventually...

The biggest issue with huts to me is how you are going to get on the ice...and most importantly off....

Lots to consider...

Even though our may not see ice this year....it's still the best thing goin thru the winter for us...

I have built a few shacks over the years.

The one have now is a portable type with a 40" x 8' foot print.

I think fishontario has a very similar design on there website. www.fishontario.com

Hey matcolecat,
Give me your email and I will send you some pics of a shack my neighbor sent me. I don't know if he knows the person who owns it or he found it on the net. It has satellite TV,microwave, and a little woodstove. And its all done in nice wood inside. If anyone else wants to see it, just let me know.

Hey Wayner,

I've seen this shack. It's a beaut. Here's a little taste of the slides of this hut. Click the picture to enlarge.

Now that's ice fishing in style.
