Dog Lake - access to Fiddler's elbow area

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Dog Lake - access to Fiddler's elbow area

Post by mitch »

Looking for a public access point to the ice in that area. Last year I could only find private property.

Hi Mitch There is a(small) public launch at almost the end of Ormsby rd. From Kingston go through Sunbury turn rt at Millburn Rd then Rt on Ormsbee and just before you get to the end there is a short lane to the right and a small launch. You will be about 1 km north (long reach)of entrance to Fiddlers Elbow on Dog Lake. I am not sure if it is plowed or not but I would be surprised if the 4 wheelers are not using it.I am going out of town for a few days in the morning and will not have access to a computer, but when I get back I will check it out if you still need info.

Thanks Russ

It is normally plowed and I have seen some four wheeler tracks there last week. I PM'd Mitch the exact same info.
