Friday Rideau Report

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Friday Rideau Report

Post by Mr.J. »

Well here's a short but happy story

I was looking for someone to head out with me today to hit the Rideau

Mr.T. and I exchanged a few PMs about having him join me but my buddie's father in-law showed up and he and I talked for 3 years about getting out together so we agreed to hit the water at 6:30 and I gave Mr.T. a promisary note for next time I needed someone to join me.

It was cool and foggy

But as soon as we broke the other side of this fog FISH ON, his father in-law hooked into a tiny pike, shook him off at the side of the boat and went on our way

2 minutes later FISH ON, not a big musky but she was beautiful and gave me a great tail dance, and now the musky less curse has been broken for me

Image

I had 1 more rip after that but didn't get to see the fish and we headed home early

To think I opted out for something as necessary as sleep! Pffffft!

Way to finally break da ice J! Not huge but a beauty specimen worthy of praise esp. because she took the skunking away.

Methinks, the Toothy Critter Derby will be interesting this year!

That reminds me ya wisea$$ Rider, I still need the raingear man!
