Leeches

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

A pound of leeches, good lord man, do you plan to eat them yourself.

We bought 1/2 a lb for a 4 day outing in Quebec and didn't use them all.

I don't have a specific suggestion but perhaps on the Quebec side since they don't do live minnows.

there is a new GULP product out with leeches in some special kind of liquid, you get about 30 of them but they are costly ($25) but when your done you place them back in the container with liquid and they can be reused again, guy at my local store told me they have had plenty of luck with these so I bought some but only tried once so far with some sucess....you can also buy minnows as well in liquid, probably be great for ice fishing as you dont gotta worry about them dying off on ya

If you're anywhere near Ottawa, make the trip to Gatineau and visit Brabant Phillips. They sell them by the pound.

Each year I buy 1.5 pounds for my trip to the Gouin for the season opener. 6 guys and we go through them all. Nothing beats leeches for pike and walleye.
