My first brown ever

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

I agree across the board.

Congratulations on an outstanding catch, Slushy!

Those are some great pic's you'll have to remind you of the day and of the beauty of that fish...as if you'd forget!

I was just wondering: where are Slushy's winter reports? I miss them! When BAM! (as Emeril would say  ), you delivered! WTG!! :D

Hope all is well. Miss you guys.

Thanks everyone for the great comments. It certainly was a rush to catch and to be able to brag, yes brag, about it here is even better  :D :D .

P.S. Wolfe, I think the women on this site are the only ones who know who Emeril is   :P

Unless you really like Cajun food!!!!!!!!! You are talking about Emeril Lagace I hope !!! He's a great Chef!! Who has an Explosive(Bam) personality!! Gotta like a cooking show with good Jazz playing in the background.

I think Emeril is a certifiable celebrity, so even (some) guys know him! He doesn't cook wimpy, pretty stuff, anyway!

When I was pregnant and couldn't manage to eat anything the 1st trimester because of horrendous morning/afternoon/evening and everything in between sickness, I would yearningly watch the Food Network (Emeril) included to at least fantasize I could eat.

Now, back to your beautiful brown trout, b4 I scare the guys away with more girl talk.

Slush: nicest looking trout on this site this year :D

As Emeril would say you really:

"Kicked it up a notch!"

BAM!!!

Prairieboy

BTW: I know food and I know Emeril...kinda like an icon, right up there with Wayne Gretzky, Hulk Hogan, Bob Izume...
