so is all those ice shak out off ice yet...?

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

We got ours off Shirleys, had to sled it off piece by piece and it took awhile because it was over a km off shore. There is still at least 7 shacks out there and the MNR has apparently been checking things out. The rumor is there is no leniency and the per day fine of $200 starts tomorrow. One guy we met thinks he's going to drive his 4x4 out tomorrow..........I doubt that'l be happening

Most of them are off in the Constance Bay section...

We got 9 shacks off yesterday....started at 8:30AM and finished by 2:30 just in time to get back out and enjoy the rest of the day fishing and havin' a few beers with the lads!!....Thanks Bender for coming out and givin' us a hand!!

My 650cc Vtwin Kawi did not let me down....it has a 50" plow on it and it was the work horse that got out to many shacks including mine to plow a path so that the 4x4 trucks could come out..later during the day a 4x4 truck came out and widened the road we built...

The longest stretch or furthest shack out was a good 1km away...

Furthest shack....

Hut's gone!!

A sure sign that spring is around the corner....this gull kept landing beside us to snack on some dead minnows!!

Thanks Joco.....I appreciate the positive feedback....it was really a group effort between us all except for the guys with 2 shacks out of the nine shacks that just drank beer and watched everyone else pull together
