Spiderwire Stealth

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Has anyone tried this stuff?I just bought some, I figured it might be better then the fusion stuff I had, that was horrible.

Can't say for sure about the Stealth, but agree with you 100% about the fusion.

Many are giving Power Pro at kick at the can this year.

Have also heard good things about P-line.

I tried Stealth last year and it was TERRIBLE!!! I stripped it off (I saved it for making my own snells and harnesses cuz I'm a cheap B*tard) and immediately respooled with PowerPro. After finishing out the remainder of last year, I'm a 100% convert. Power Pro rocks!!

Another poor report here. Trolled with it twice this spring and it became brittle and weak. Couldn't even hold knot strength. Just started snapping.

I stripped it off.

Last year was my first year running power pro. I ran it on 3 rods. Well late in the season my spool ran dry on my jigging rod ( all them dam snags)and I spooled up with mono. Not only did I lose my sensitivity, all my line started twisting. Power pro dose not twist. And you always know where the bottom is. This year I spooled 6 rods with it.

P.S. DO NOT use it for salmon fishing. You have never seen flees till you try power pro on the great lakes.

I am sold and will use no other super line

Don't know about the spider wire but I'll throw in my 2 cents for power pro I've been using it for two years now and I swear by it . Just spooled my crappie rod with 4lb p-line and I'm impessed with the strength of it Caught a branch last weekend and I tried to break it off and was amazed when I managed to pull the stick in without breaking the line

Tried Stealth last year.......used it three times and ad to take it off....I hated it! I have never used a line that dug into my spool more than that stuff.

I use Powere Pro great stuff. Picked some up last night at Wal Mart in Kanata $19.00 for 150 yards.
