Baitcaster Derby

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Baitcaster's Derby

Post by Seaweed »

I will be there for sure. Crystal contacted me and let me know that I won the contest they were running by ordering over 50 bucks of tackle from their online store. Very cool.

It is also the 1st anniversary of my wedding so what a great way to celebrate with the wife.

What a great prize package too.

Cottage for the weekend.
Free entry into the tourney.
Get to fish with Mike the co-owner of Baitcasters in his Ranger.
I will also christen the new Seaweed Nitro.
Greatest thing of all is that I get to do breakfast with Crystal and Mike of Baitcasters and Fish-Hawk and Bobber the morning of the derby..... 8)

What a great time it will be....

Oh yeah and another bonus was my partner last weekend on the Bay of Quinte happens to be an expert at Mississippi lake and he shared some tips that might help me win the derby... wouldn`t that be like icing on the cake.

I'm there with MT Livewell Sr.

Mick, I thought you were boat shopping. Can't convince the wife to loosen the purse strings? :P See you there.

MT

I am always boat shopping. The problem is I have a big family and want a big boat which of course comes with a big price tag. For now, I get out for a weekend or two a year plus as many day trips as I can with different guys.

Looking forward to the tourney. I have never fished in a tournament before, should be fun.
