Hello all,
Any plans for the bass season opener on the 28th of june? As for myself, I don't know yet if I should go to the Mississippi Lake or venture in Charleston Lake for the first time ever.

The Ottawa opens on the 27th, and I'll be there. The St Lawrence on the 28th and the renegade pro/am on the Rideau on Sunday.

Going to be on the Ottawa. Found a few big bass by mistake ( 5lbs +) when we were bottom fishing with worms at the end of Champlain Boul. Boaters beware! It's very shallow with lots of obsticles so take your time and save your boat. We paddled in to the spot as I am yet to own a trolling motor. P.S If you like brown bullheads---thats the spot! Lots of carp as well for those of us who like the uglies.
