Most opening days I spend out of Wendover.... lots of different areas to fish... and one of the best free launches around. High water generally means going shallower than you normally would so watch for submerged stuff but in my opinion ..... you stand a better chance of not hitting anything too.....

Rockland might be a good choice too.... but you gotta pay to play there. Petrie is going to be open. Water is high... very high there...
