Fishing License

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Fishing License

Post by Rich »

Asked a friend to go out fishin with me on the weekend, asked me a question that I have no idea about. Do folks of Metis descent require a fishing license in Ontario?

Markus- you mean 'ol Christopher Columbus was Irish???

Or did something else take place in 1492 that I'm forgetting? I was only a child, then...

My ancestors heard from the vikings that the fishing was pretty good over here, so a few of them packed a few things (fishing poles, potatoes, drinks and a couple ladies) and stowed away on the first available ship heading this way. It was a bit of a walk up from the gulf, but the Mississippi was great fishing right to the great lakes.

My family has been fishing the creeks/lakes ever since.
