Boat Rentals

Hi,

I am looking for boat rentals/launch sites for day trips in the Ottwaw/Arnprior/Gatineau regions. I tried surrounding shore fishing, but figure that renting a small motor boat is a good idea. I've rented at Petrie Island (Oziles) but would like to try other areas (Arnprior, Calabogie, Gatineau area).

Any suggestions? Websites? Contacts?

It's been years since I've used them, but they rent boats at Clayton Lakeside not far from Almonte. It can be a hard lake to fish (but there are bass, pike and walleye, plus percha nd sunfish to name a few), and watch out for dead-heads!

There's also some campgrounds on Mississippi Lake between Carleton Place and Perth that rent out boats.

I was just about to suggest Constance Lake... if you're open to paddling, try http://www.jenda.com/index.php. It's in the Kars / Osgoode area.

Thursdays are their "Test Paddle" days
