LANDSDOWN PARK
February 26, 2009 to March 1, 2009
The biggest Boat and Outdoors Show in the Region!
Drop by and join me at the
Laurentian Marine booth. The
Minto Casting Pond is always great fun for the kids and some informational seminars throughout the weekend for us older guys. Karma will be there with his
Blind Fishing Boat, some new toys from
Shimano , and the
Ministry of Natural Resources for anyone with questions for them.
Look forward to seeing you all there. Click on the graphic above to enter the
Ottawa Boat & Sportsmen's Show official site.

Yep,
Dave Mercer will be there March 1, 2009 now at 1:30 as opposed to 1:00 (which I posted in an earlier thread). The show has been changing seminar times so check the schedule often.

At the same time as the Outdoor show, we will be running an instore doo at Paddletales. Lots of specials and food, pro staffers etc. When you are done at Landsdowne, come on out and see us.
More details will be posted as the date gets nearer.

I've had mine for 9 years now Mr. J - still very happy, with no regrets over original purchase. Highly recommend Laurentian Marine - always had excellent after sales service.

I'll be there in the Andre Lalonde Marine Crestliner booth again this year Thursday and/or Friday.
Looking foreward to the show it's been a long and cold winter.
Mr J if you had a little more in your budget I could set you up in the ultimate muskie fishing machine but for 30K you can get a nicely rigged 16-17 foot boat anyways.

There will be some interesting electronics that you don't see just anywhere, and I'll also have information on a number of "Blind Fishing Adventures" I've organized to take place throughout the year, including a week-long Blind Fishing Camp in partnership with the CNIB's Lake Joeseph Centre just south of Perry Sound.
I'll be in booth 612 -- drop in and say hello.

Thanks for the info. Bobber
I've never gone before, but am very interested in going.
After a long time off (since I was a kid) I have recently, with the interest of my kids, gotten re-involved in fishing.
Are there really good deals on things?
What types of things dry the most interest?
I'll check out the link you provided......
Thanks in advance for the input anyone can provide.
Hope to make it and see some of your there.

GR8-Scott. If you're getting back into fishing, you might find the Carp show in April to be your best bet. It has way more fishing representation from companies and stores than the Ottawa show.

As a volunteer for DUC, I'm happy to say that I will be helping the DUC booth Saturday p.m. & evening.
Will certainly go and visit the Delta Waterfowl booth around noon.
