St. Croix rods @ Canadian Tire?

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

St. Croix rods @ Canadian Tire?

Post by HogHunter »

Is this new? Have they carried them for a while and I somehow didn't know? Was I halucinating????

I was in a rush but the prices looked right. Maybe St. Croix sold out and are making a cheaper line for the larger chains??????

They have had them for a year or so. Expect to pay a bit more then what you would at the small shops though.

It's been awhile since I've been there but I think the one behind St. Laurent shopping centre has them too.

Likely the old stock CT is selling. Most of their lines were re-designed in 2009.

Last time I was in the Coventry road, the highest level they had was the LTB and only a couple of the swimbait rods.

Mostly Premiers with a few Avids thrown in. 99.00-179.99. About what you would expect to pay for a St. Croix.

A year or so eh? Guess they had to move the display so I could trip over it for me to see it

I did see some hot pink tags on some of the rods, maybe on sale !?

Either way, if you have a choice and prices are similar it would be nice to support the little guys!!

Thanks.
