Carpet cleaner

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Carpet cleaner

Once in a while you get that fish that bleeds all over the place. With my new boat I am looking for something to clean the blood on the spot just in case. Any recomendations?

I've read of people using Club Soda. Folex has also been recommended.

Leave the stains...makes you look like a B.A.

I would agree with the club soda, however that might not be too efficient as I imagine you won't be using it enough to keep it from going flat.

Carpet Cleaner

Never leave home with out my "Shamwow" or equivalent. I actually use the cheaper version.

Besides you never know when some peckerwood will spill their morning coffee all over your front deck.

Pour a little water or whatever on the blood to keep it liquid and soak it up with the shammy. You can alway use a carpet spot cleaner but I don't tend to worry about it that much.

I do usually shampoo my carpets before I put the boat away for the winter.

I've heard that Salt can be useful in removal of blood from a carpet. So I think you should use the salt paste method.

Hydrogen peroxide will break down blood. Also Sport Wash by Atsko works well on clothing for blood so I imagine it will work well on carpet.
