Walleye Near Verona ?
Does anybody know if there are any walleye lakes near Vernon Ontario ?
I'll be at a cottage in the area in early June and would love to fish some walleye.
Thanks.

Vernon just south of Ottawa???? Or Verner south of North Bay???
Can't see where you would have a cottage in Vernon. And you would be so close to home??

...you're welcome R_L...I can't help you because I only know trout lakes in that area, but I'm sure you'll get other members to respond with some Walleye spots...Rideau_Lungehunter wrote:Opps ... Thanks TMH. It is Verona in South Frontenac.TroutnMuskieHunter wrote:Are you sure you didn't mean Verona Ont. in South Frontenac??
Same question though ...
R_L,
Walleye are not native to any of the lakes in that area, rather they are stocked by the MNR. I would give the Kempville office a shout to see if they have the current walleye stocking info for Zone 18, or contact info to whoever does have the information.
