Circa 2004 for me. And yeah, there were some really goofy times. Lots of good natured ribbing, as I recall. Fun stuff.
That being said, some of the same arguments that get people's feathers in a bunch now, were causing apoplectic fits back then. Some stuff never changes!

i think i can "remember" as far back as 2003, but i dont think i joined until 2004.
anyone ever part of the zoology university of Toronto board?
i think it was like the first fishing board, even prior to ofn.
i owe a lot to a fella named Dan Ralph from that board...he helped me a lot in my early stages of fishing post "hiatus".

Every once in a while i go down the membership list in Joining order and I say to myself ,

I remember my first post. I asked for some good spots on the Madawaska. And within minutes I quickly had to learn about PM's cause my message file was filling up with a lot of guys favorite spots and techniques for that river and had some replies on the actual post for everybody to see.
Now a guy gets crucified for asking the same question that I asked back in Jun. 2004.
