Valley outdoors(carp) show alive and well

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Valley outdoors(carp) show alive and well

Post by muskymatt »

The show is on and in full force. I was out this morning and as of 9:30am it was packed, can't say I'm surprised with it being such a nice spring so far and I'm sure everyone is chomping the bit to get out fishing.

Sure is great to see all the local shops out supporting the show. Making the rounds to chat with all the folks is always a great time and lots of laughs.

Ed and his amazing Paddletales booth which seems to get bigger and better every year!!

My good bud Kert at JB's...if you have a question fishing related ...Kert is the one to see....very helpful and no BS
Image
As always the Muskies Canada booth..drop in and say hi to the guys and check out the cool preserved Muskie head

Stacey Ash from Protackle with a great assortment of muskie baits.

Take an hour or 2 and go support the show....don"t forget your wallet (like I did   ) oh well I'm working the booth tomorrow so hopefully the muskie stuff won't be all sold out by then.

Great show once again by Dave and Valley Outdoor Promotions...

Cool pics. I was at the show last night (Friday) and it was nice to meet and speak to few of those people as well. I took off a little early too and went to see the friendly folks at Bait Casters. Man that couch looks comfy! Andy, don't delete my post!

I think they should make all the Turkey Calls go in a separate building and call all they want.

I almost went to pass my Boaters test a couple of times, Some of the testers seemed very friendly:wink:

But I said to myself why would I need 2 more cards.
When hell freezes over, I'll be there icefishing!!!

It was definitely a good show, and PACKED in that arena by 10am! Good to see!

If anyone is going on Sunday, pick up one or two of the $10 grab-bags from Paddletales. They are LOADED with stuff - I had a bag worth over $70 (topwaters, 50lb braid, plastics, jigs, chunks, leaders, etc), and the other was probably well over $50!

I was happy to see a large number of big-ticket purchases made - its those purchases that I would think the vendors rely on to make their fees and time worth it. I must have seen 2 dozen different people with new rods (and many multiple-rod purchasers!).
