Kemptville Creek boat launch

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Kemptville Creek boat launch

Post by onelastcast »

Has anyone been to the Kempville Creek launch at Bridge Street? I'm planning on putting my 19ft Skeeter in there tomorrow and was just wondering if the water level was going to be a problem.

Thanks.

I haven't used it this year yet. Checked it out last week and the water was really low. It might actually make it better as I found that with normal water levels your vehicle would be in the water before your boat would come off the trailer.

Good Luck!

Hey Guys

The Rideau River (and it's tribs) are extremely low. Water's dropped about 3 feet in front of our dock up near Kars. I wouldn't take a chance putting a canoe in the Creek right now.
