MAN DID GOT WET REPORT.

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Post by joco »

WE GOT HIT TWICE BY 2 DEFERENT STORM TONIGHT.

NOT THE BEST THING TO BE ACCROSS A LAKE IN KAYAK AND GET SOAK TO THE BONES, AND HAVE THUNDERS ALL AROUND US.

SIT UNDER SHORE TREES OR UNDOCOVER IN SOME BOATHOUSE. 8) .

HO WELL AN ADVENTURE . :D .

SO WE DESIDE ME/BASS ADDICT AND SPINNER TO GET TOGETHER FOR SOME YAKING.

we went for a 3h off yak fishing but got mabe 1/2 off it the rest was waiting on shore somewhere waiting to that bad stuff to past...and one point it was pretty strong.

for me the bite as not that good.

for bass addcit it went pretty well and so spinner got some realy nice bass but was to far froe me for picts.sadly.

Weather Sites on Web?

Post by whiting1 »

joco - I noticed you fish in all weather conditions. My type of fishing - but I also like to know what to expect (mainly for safety).

I am new to this site (FH) and also new to Ontario fishing. By the way - did some browsing on FH -great info! and Pics! First trip was 2 years ago to Newboro. Will be returning in a couple of weeks. Going to try for some SMB.

Now for the Question: Anyone have a favorite web site that has current radar/weather forecast for this region of the province (Newboro).

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

let say it was not supose to be likie that for wetaer.

nonesly if i did no i would have not gone.

but it happen wen we were accros the lake...rain i dont care but there was some serious thunders all around us but nothing on the lake itself..but during thunder i was 2 inch frome shore all rods down and cover under tress soem small tress not the tales one..ok i no not supsoe under tress but still it was mainly for the rain.

safety wise..if there thunder dont go on water..but if you get caught shore as soon as possible..and if you are lucky you can find an empty boat house.like we did for the first storm we got in last night but the sec was .

wen the lake is suround by mountains sometime you get suprise becasue you can see to far around.

i did look at thew wetAER CHANNLE METEOMEDIA..BUT THEY SAID CHANCE..AND I AM LUCKY USELY I DONT GET CHNACE THIS TIME I DID...HAHAHA

but rain itsel dont hurt man its only water and kayak is a water sport anyway...after your wet cant get weter....

Welcome to the site, and Ontario fishing!

here's a great weather link which gives you wind directions and everything. You can change certain thing like wind, knots, mph, km/hr etc.
